Hi My Name is Patrick Williams
of Williams Pitching Performance
Born and raised in Cleveland, Tennessee, I graduated from Cleveland High School in 2019. After high school, I went on to play four years of college baseball at Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. While at Lipscomb, I picked up my first career win against in-state rival and #3 ranked Tennessee Vols. I was also part of the 2023 ASUN Championship team that made it to the Clemson Regional. Off the field, I earned my degree in Education and is now a 1st grade teacher at Blythe Bower Elementary. I am passionate about working with kids and making a difference in the community I grew up in. For the past 3 years, I have also been giving baseball lessons at The Mission, mentoring young athletes both on and off the field. When I am not teaching or coaching, I love spending time with my wife, Malia, and our daughter, Juni.

Hi My Name is Star
Born in Etowah, TN and raised partly in Athens before settling in Cleveland, TN, I bring a lifelong passion for sports and player development to my role as a hitting instructor. I have a four-year background in high school varsity baseball—three years at McMinn County High School and one year at Cleveland High School. After my baseball career, I transitioned to basketball at Cleveland State Community College, where I earned an Associate’s Degree in Advanced Business.
As a dedicated student of the game, I am deeply committed to the art and science of developing elite-level baseball and softball swings. My approach is process-driven, with a strong focus on measurable improvement and individualized instruction.
For questions or to schedule a session, feel free to reach out—I’m always excited to work with athletes who are ready to elevate their game.

I have been around the game of baseball my whole life. I have had many great coaches and mentors that have taught me the ins and outs of this game and want to take what I have learned and give it to the next generation.

My Name is Austin Darnell
I am from Dalton Ga, and have been in baseball for 17 years total but most recently played at Bryan College and was a catcher there for 2 years. I currently coach the Mission’s 15u team and attend University of Tennessee at Chattanooga studying Exercise and Health Science. I am currently engaged to my gorgeous fiancé, Alaina, who played softball at ETSU and Lee University. Alaina and I met at the Mission while giving lessons and grew together over our love for sports played on a diamond, and our faith in Jesus Christ. I have been a Hitting Instructor as well as the Catching Instructor at The Mission for over 2 years and I have a passion for passing my knowledge of baseball on to the next generation. I believe that God gave me the passion for coaching to spread the gospel to the next generation and make your players a better person on and off the field. My availability as of 10/13 will be Mondays, and Wednesdays from 3-8.
